Michigan Relics

The Michigan Relics are artifacts found in burial mounds throughout Michigan around the turn of the 20th century. Thousands of artifacts made of copper, slate and clay. They were claimed to be proof of an ancient biblical people that settled in the Great Lakes region long ago, and then disappeared. Covered with mysterious symbols and writing they became the focus of fierce controversy among scholars and religious leaders of the day.

Discovered, discredited, and lost in the early 1900’s, the artifacts reappeared in storage at a Mormon church museum in Salt Lake City and were eventually returned to Michigan in 2001 where they continue to stir the imagination.

Researchers for both sides of the controversy present their evidence and arguments in this hour long documentary – so you decide for yourself whether the Michigan Relics are Hoax or History.
